Welcome to Ferry View Cottage, a Traditional Stone Lakeland Cottage, with parking outside the door. Our superbly appointed accommodation is situated towards the south end of Bowness, in a quiet location adjoining countryside, yet only a ten to fifteen minute stroll into the village centre and Bowness Bay, giving easy access to all the area has to offer.

Available all year round, this cosy cottage benefits from electric storage heating with Gas Log effect stove forming the focal point of this comfortable sitting/dining room.

The country limed oak fitted kitchen gives a perfect traditional feel, yet offers every convenience including built-in fan assisted oven, ceramic hob, built-in fridge with ice box, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.

There are two spacious bedrooms, both benefitting from luxury fitted furniture giving generous wardrobe, cupboard and drawer space with dressing table areas in both rooms. Bedroom one has a de-luxe double bed. Bedroom two has two single beds. Duvets and bed linen of the highest quality are provided.

The bathroom has all the usual requirements including electric shower over bath, airing cupboard / drying facility accessible from this room.

For your enjoyment during your stay we have provided a colour TV in each bedroom, plus a TV VCR, CD and DVD player in the lounge. Bedroom two has a Sony Playstation with a selection of games.

You will find a good selection of books and videos, plus a large folder with brochures and leaflets giving details of things to do, days out, places of interest and numerous guided walks throughout the Lake District.
