Our most recent holiday marks a decade of visits to this absolutely incredible home away from home. After such a difficult eighteen months or so with the Covid-19 crisis, it has been absolute bliss being able to travel back up from Devon to 2 Ferry View. The cottage has been Coronavirus-proofed and we felt safe following the new guidelines during our stay. Nothing quite matches the tranquility and peace of this holiday destination. A local recommendation: if you make it over to Hawkshead, visit The Kittchen, a cat themed craft beer bar! We can assure you that even as dog lovers, we had a brilliant time there, and it's not a long trip from the comfort and quiet of Ferry View. Thank you once again for a splendid holiday – we shall definitely be heading back up soon! Five out of five woofs from the dogs too!

Cosy, warm, clean and comfortable! Enjoyed out stay immensely! Unfortunately not very lucky with the weather so was lovely to have a welcoming place to stay!

Had a lovely week in this beautiful cottage made even better by the many birds visiting the feeders in the front garden. Noted 12 different species and was lovely to sit watching their antics whilst relaxing in such lovely surroundings.

What a lovely cottage to return to after a series of fascinating days out. We were so relaxed and comfortable that our departures were always later than we had intended! We hope to return and continue to explore this beautiful part of the world.
